Pirateborg – Art Break

Working on a second draft of art for a Pirate Borg – Wretched Maladies homebrew, taking inspirations from the theory of humours. I’m still fiddling with the exact mechanics but I’m liking where some of these are going. It’s also important to me to make sure that these are a quick enough onset for use in the Western Marches style game I’m running – the crew follow a map or rumour, dungeon crawl it, and return to spend their plunder at some port of call.

Meanwhile, working on some art for the cover page of the trifold. Image on the far right is from a period humours woodcut. Middle of a Vitruvian Pirate idea I had, showing many missing body parts. Far left is the current idea of a skeletal side and a pirate side.
