This is no ordinary tattoo. It is in fact a relic in the form of a dagger that has burrowed into your forearm, only coming out when coaxed by singing the same song as the one you sang that dark night when you used it to carve a single long cut into your flesh.

For additional cursed qualities, on a CRITICAL FUMBLE, the tip has broken off in the vulnerable flesh, burrowing it’s way to the heart in 1d4 turns and certain death. Roll a d6:

• 1-4 it has broken off in your target
• 5-6 it has broken off in one of your limbs and will require some immediate action to amputate or cut it out before it reaches your heart.

Inspired by such things as the hidden wrist blade of Assassin’s Creed and more than a few grim dark comic book characters of the late 80s / early 90s, with all the subtlety of a David Cronenberg movie, a handy blade that lives beneath your flesh seemed very Mork Borgian.
